About Sirius Software

It’s not really a company: it’s just the name I, a retired software designer, use for my open-source programs. I offer free versions of electronic document filing, digital music playing, home accounting and others. What I get out of it is the fun of keeping busy creating software.

About Sweetwater County

Sweetwater county is the home of both Rock Springs, Green River, and several much smaller towns. The Green River flows through Green River, WY on its way to the confluence with the former Grand River. (In the early 1920s, the state of Colorado got Congress to rename the Grand to the Colorado. Whereas historically, the Green River and the Grand River flowed together at the confluence in southern Utah, at which point it became the Colorado, now people are led to believe that the Colorado heads in Colorado. Sorry! In fact, by volume of water, the true head of the Colorado river is in the Wind River mountains, at a place called Peak Lake. That’s politics, for you!)
